Basically it is a group of photographers of all ages getting together at a specific location and walking a route taking pictures of whatever they find interesting. Afterwards the group goes to a restaurant and checks out each other's shots. It is a good chance to learn more about the art and get "how did you get that shot" information.
This event will take place in cities around the world and it is free to join. Right now there is one happening in the Chicago area...Glenview to be exact. My plans are to attend this photowalk but if another opens up in the downtown area then I will attend that one instead.
I am inviting everyone who would like to go with me to this photowalk. The lady who is leading it will e-mail me with more information as to where we will meet and the route we will take. This should be a fun event...getting to hang out with photographers and being able to ask any question and seeing how they work.
