Miracle

Today I witnessed one of nature's miracles. As I was leaving for work a cicada caught my eye...it was clinging to my garage door. It was strange because, don't cicadas appear every 10 years??? Anyways I saw another one that wasn't fully developed yet crawling on the floor; I scooped both up in a Tupperware container thinking I could get some good photos.

At work I was watching them trying to think of good angles when suddenly the undeveloped one started to molt and come out of its shell!! Of course I took some shots because it's not often one gets to witness such a thing (unless you're watching the Discovery Channel). So, for all of you here are my shots:
