PK shout-outs

I just wanted to give a shout-out to all the PK's (pastor's kids) that I chat with every night.

Worldwide: To my friends in Australia, England, New Zealand, Spain and Mexico.
In the U.S: I love you all in Los Angeles, Texas, Illinois, Alaska, NY, Florida, Hawaii, Montana and Indiana.

It's so awesome to have a group of friends who understand the hardships and blessings that come with being a PK. Thanks for the inspiration, love, advice, fights, arguments, jokes, and everything else you bring to our nightly chats. See y'all tonight!

This morning...

I finally fell asleep somewhere around 6 AM...not so sure. My alarm woke me at 7 to get ready for work. Slept on the couch I was praying on, not too comfortable. Surprisingly I don't feel tired or sleepy at all, instead I feel pretty good for one single hour of sleep. I'm not surprised tho...thats God; when you seek Him over your needs he takes care of you. So, for those of you in my class yesterday remember...God's mercy is new every day...so smile and have an awesome day!!

Can't sleep...

It is now Monday, 4:37 in the morning and I cannot get to sleep. I'm trying hard but it's no use, so I thought I'd come downstairs and write a lil. I thought I could maybe stay in bed and pray from there but for some reason I can't stand the bed so I had to get up. There have been a lot of things and people on my heart lately and I think it's come to the point where I need to pray harder and maybe this is God's way of saying "you want it bad enough...then sacrifice and pray". There are so many things I want to do in the ministry that I feel I am capable of doing. Yesterday after the service I was approached by 2 sets of parents asking me to counsel and talk to their teens, and I spoke to one whose teen I haven't seen in a while. But, I think my class is bursting at the seams already...I have sooo many kids in there now. Even the ones who have "graduated" have been asking to be let back in, which speaks volumes for the class.

So anyways...I've decided to fast this week. Some of the kids have inspired me to do so because they've been doing it, plus, I need to do it more often just for my own spiritual benefit. Yesterday's lesson was on the power of prayer, so I'm gonna get off here and do what I taught about...

Watch out!..I've a new camera.

Thaaats right...I have a brand new camera. It's the Sony Alpha 100 (pictured above) and this camera is baad to the bone. It has steady shot to make sure there's no blurry pictures...10 megapixels so my photos are very detailed. Best of all I can switch lenses, that way I can buy ones that let me get reeeeal close from very far away (like the papparazzi). What will I do with my old one you ask..well that one will be my backup. Every photographer should have a backup camera.

Jesus Freaks: China

China has a "hard strike" policy. This policy is meant to crack down on organized crime and petty criminals, but it has put more Christians behind bars than are currently in prison in any other nation in the world today. Any Bible found by a Public Security Bureau Officer is instantly confiscated...even those approved and printed by the Chinese government. Recent statistics show that from 1983 to 2001 there were 23,686 Christian arrests in China for religious reasons, and of these, 208 have been beaten to the point of being crippled for life.

Despite all this persecution and suffering, an estimated 1,200 Chinese come to Christ every hour!

Let us pray for out brothers and sisters in China..that God may make them strong and give them courage to continue preaching and reaching souls for Christ.
