Michael Jackson Dead

I am saddened to report that Michael Jackson has died; he was 50 years old. He was the most influential artist of our time. He changed the way music is made...even Christian music. His use of technology and the way he created influenced and changed the way music is made forever. He was loved, he was criticized. He was controversial and eccentric. He made friends and was known personally by most celebrities out there. His groundbreaking use of music videos as a way to tell a story was very special.

He was, is, and always will be influential and relevant to the music world...nothing can change the good things he can accomplish..he was truly an Icon and a Legend in every sense of the words.

The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums are among the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career—more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era—and the sales of over 750 million albums worldwide. Cited as one of the world's most famous men, Jackson's highly publicized personal life, coupled with his successful career, made him a part of popular culture for almost four decades.

I have always been a fan of his. I remember when Thriller came out and being so mesmerized by his music...never having heard anything like that before. I will always be a fan. Rest in peace Michael...

New Find!....Jesus Culture

Here's a great video by an exciting band called Jesus Culture. This is a band originating from Bethel Church out in Redding, California. Their style is kinda like Hillsongs and Planetshakers but way fresher. Check 'em out...
