Some of the reasons why I'm voting McCain

To begin with, the next President of the US, whether he likes it or not, has to deal decisively with the reality that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are far from over. Obviously, McCain is particularly well qualified to do this. What can the American people and the rest of the world expect from a McCain Administration? McCain has made it very clear that he hates to lose a war. We can trust him to back his word with action. McCain is determined not only to ensure the security of the US, its allies , and all freedom-loving nations but also to sit at the negotiating table and look for non-violent methods of ending the war.

McCain has a lot of experience; Obama's experience is limited.

McCain is overflowing with moral courage; Obama lacks moral courage.

McCain's character has been thoroughly tested and defined; Obama's character is as yet undefined or better still shrouded in mystery.

McCain is honest, unpretentious; Obama is too astute and does not inspire trust.

As president, McCain can always call a summit of the brightest American economists to help him fix the US economy. The way he belittles McCain about the economy,Obama might be too proud to resort to such an option.

McCain's love of country/patriotism has been tested to the limit; Obama's is as yet purely rhetorical and has to undergo a severe test to be believable.

The American people have this last chance to elect a hero like McCain as president; Obama is still young, inexperienced. The American people can afford to let him wait for a maximum of 8 years.

An ailing economy can always be cured; a wrong decision on security matters that could bring about more 9/11's would be catastrophic not only for the US but also for its friends and allies.

We, freedom-loving peoples, do not want wars; but for as long as enduring global peace has not been secured, the US, as our leader, should stay alert. After all the victims of 9/11 were not only Americans.

A McCain presidency means alertness, readiness, and determination to defend democracy, our way of life.

Amish Trip

Well I'm back from the trip to Amish Acres and it was amazing. Not crowded at all. It was a grey day but for photographers this means even light all around so it didn't bother me. Here are some pictures I took.

Satanism Sneakyness

I hope y'all are paying attention. While driving today I spotted something a bit disturbing. As any well-read christian should know, the pentagram is a symbol used heavily in satanism. For those who don't know what it is here's what it looks like:



The star symbolizes Jesus and the circle means a wall around, or "to contain, and stop". Basically the pentagram advertises a person's wish for Jesus to be stopped and for His kingdom not to come. Yea...bad. Satanists go even further with it...to them it looks like a goat's head...the symbol of Satan:



Not pretty.

So, this morning as I drove to work I passed the Stickney Police Department building and spotted the pentagram being used boldly in the design:





Now, why would the Police, an organization whose job is to serve and protect us display such a thing?? What message does that send out to satanists in the area?? Surely they know about it because most police departments in the country train to understand gang/cult symbols...so why display one??? I dunno, this really baffles me. And don't tell me it represents the police star...that is a pentagram plain and simple...any idiot can see that!

Here's something else..now the pentagram is being turned into a "cool" symbol by partially making it look like a heart:



This is being "marketed" to skaters and rocker kids as a "cool" symbol to display; believe me, it's not. According to the church of satan the "heart" pentagram means "to have a love for all things dark". Creepy.

To christian youths everywhere: don't let these people push these symbols on you. That's the way they do it, softly, making it look "cool" or making it part of the scene. I have seen christian youths in displaying the heart pentagram thinking it is a skater symbol...hah! Before you use a symbol, research it, look it up, read about it...you might just be displaying the enemy's mark and therefore he will think you are one of them.

Apple Picking Trip

We had lots of fun at Edward's Orchard in Poplar Grove, Illinois. It was packed with people and kids everywhere...a good photographic opportunity. The apples were crisp and delicious, the cider was awesome. As you can see I was also able to picture some of the people there as well.
